A better way to find places to stay in West Virginia
BookWV is a directory of lodging across West Virginia, built to connect travelers directly with the people and businesses that operate each property.
Property owners pay a flat monthly listing fee. BookWV does not take a commission on reservations, and travelers book directly with the property.

Why BookWV exists
West Virginia has thousands of cabins, inns, vacation rentals, campgrounds, hotels, and other places to stay—but finding them can be harder than it should be.
Many independent properties rely either on large booking platforms or on their own websites. Booking platforms can make properties easier to discover, but they often charge commissions or guest fees. Independent websites let travelers book directly, but they can be difficult to find when someone is still deciding where to stay.
BookWV is designed to bridge that gap.
We help travelers discover lodging throughout West Virginia, then send them directly to the property to learn more and book.
Instead of charging a percentage of every reservation, BookWV charges owners a flat listing fee. Whether a property receives ten bookings or a thousand, BookWV does not take a cut.
How it works
- Search West Virginia lodging. Find cabins, hotels, inns, campgrounds, vacation rentals, and other accommodations across the state.
- Compare your options. Browse photos, amenities, locations, starting rates, and property information in one place.
- Book directly. Every listing connects you directly with the property, either through its own booking website or another booking page chosen by the owner.
- No BookWV booking fees. BookWV does not add a commission or fee to the traveler’s reservation.
BookWV does not process lodging reservations, hold availability, or determine the final price of a stay. Rates displayed on the site are starting rates supplied by the property and may vary by date, season, fees, taxes, or availability.
Every new listing is reviewed before it is published.
West Virginia only
BookWV covers one state on purpose.
West Virginia is made up of distinct regions, small towns, outdoor destinations, state parks, events, and communities that are difficult to represent well in a national directory.
Focusing exclusively on West Virginia allows us to build something more useful: a directory organized around how people actually travel the state.
That means helping visitors discover not only well-known destinations, but also the cabins down a back road, the independent inn in a small town, the campground near a trailhead, and the places worth building a trip around.
Our goal is simple: make it easier to discover West Virginia, find the right place to stay, and book directly with the people who operate it.
