Babcock State Park covers more than 4,000 acres along Glade Creek in Fayette County, well under an hour southeast of Fayetteville near Clifftop. Its reconstructed Glade Creek Grist Mill is the most photographed building in West Virginia. The park has cabins, a campground, a small lake and about 20 miles of hiking trails on the New River rim.
