Holly River State Park covers about 8,100 acres in northern Webster County on WV 20, making it the second largest state park in West Virginia. It is a narrow valley park with cabins, a campground, a restaurant and short trails to Tenskwatawa Falls, Shupes Chute and Potato Knob. Webster Springs is well under an hour south, and Buckhannon the same to the north.
