Pipestem Resort State Park covers about 4,000 acres above the Bluestone River gorge in Summers County, between Hinton and Princeton on WV 20. It has two lodges, cabins, a campground, two golf courses and an aerial tram that drops 1,100 feet into the gorge to Mountain Creek Lodge. The park also runs an observatory and hosts regular public stargazing nights.
