The Hatfield-McCoy Trails are a network of more than 1,000 miles of off-highway vehicle trails across southern West Virginia, spread over separate systems in Logan, Mingo, Boone, Wyoming, McDowell, Mercer and Wayne counties. Riding requires a permit, and street-legal side-by-sides and ATVs may use posted town streets in designated trail towns such as Gilbert, Man, Matewan and Pineville. It is the largest OHV trail network of its kind in the eastern United States.
