The Mon River Rail-Trail System is a 48-mile network of rail trails through Morgantown, made up of the Caperton Trail along the Monongahela River waterfront, the Mon River Trail north and south, and the Deckers Creek Trail east to Reedsville. It is paved through the city and crushed limestone outside it. The system connects to the Sheepskin Trail toward Pennsylvania and the Great Allegheny Passage network.
