The Summit Bechtel Reserve is a 10,000-acre Scouting America high-adventure base and jamboree site near Glen Jean in Fayette County. It has zip lines, a large BMX and mountain bike complex, climbing walls and one of the biggest challenge course systems in the country. Beckley, Oak Hill and Fayetteville hold the lodging that fills during jamboree and summer camp weeks.
