Spruce Knob Lake is a 25-acre trout lake at about 3,800 feet in Randolph County, below the Spruce Knob summit road in the Monongahela National Forest. It is the highest lake in West Virginia, limited to non-motorized boats and stocked with trout. A Forest Service campground is nearby and a one-mile trail loops the shore.
