Lewisburg is a short drive west and Amtrak stops at White Sulphur Springs.

The Greenbrier
A resort at White Sulphur Springs operating on the site of a mineral spring resort dating to 1778, with the present hotel opened in 1913. It holds three championship golf courses and a National Historic Landmark designation.

The Bunker at The Greenbrier
A declassified underground relocation facility built under the resort between 1958 and 1962 to house Congress in a nuclear emergency. Its existence was made public in 1992 and guided tours run daily.
