Secluded Cabins near Snowshoe Mountain Resort

Single cabins on private acreage with no shared driveway and no view of another building. Many sit on gravel roads in Pocahontas, Pendleton, Randolph and Webster counties where cell service drops out.

Snowshoe Mountain Resort is on Cheat Mountain in northern Pocahontas County at about 4,848 feet, the largest ski resort in the mid-Atlantic. It has roughly 250 skiable acres, about 60 trails and a 1,500-foot vertical drop split between the Snowshoe Basin, Silver Creek and the north-facing Western Territory. The resort community at the summit holds most of the lodging and restaurants, and in summer the mountain runs a lift-served downhill bike park. Cass and Green Bank are well under an hour southeast.
