Beartown State Park is a 110-acre day-use park on the east side of Droop Mountain in Pocahontas County, off US 219 south of Hillsboro. A half-mile boardwalk loops through deep crevasses and overhanging cliffs in the Droop sandstone. It is open seasonally and has no facilities beyond restrooms and parking.
