New River Gorge Bridge
A steel arch bridge carrying US 19 for 3,030 feet across the New River Gorge, 876 feet above the water. It opened in 1977 and is the site of Bridge Day each October.

A 3.2 mile round trip from Newton Road to a rock outcrop on the south rim. The point gives the head-on view of the New River Gorge Bridge used in most photographs of it.
